The convergence of cell phone and personal digital assistant (PDA) technologies into what is being called the smart phone is the initial embodiment of the vision of information access anytime, anywhere from any device. This course reviews many of the important aspects of smart phone technology including, current hardware and software platforms, keyboard issues, mobile battery technologies and future application challenges.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
